The South Haven girls outscored Quinter by 16 in the third quarter to turn their Class 1A quarterfinal game at Hays' Gross Coliseum into a rout.
Katie Meeker (20 points) led four South Haven players in double-figure scoring. The second-seeded Cardinals had never won a state tournament game before.
Centralia held Claflin to 12 first-half points on 4-of-18 shooting. Claflin got 12 points from sophomore Natalie Zink, but no other player topped six.
BV-Randolph overcame a six-point second quarter deficit to get past Golden Plains. The Rams used a 17-point fourth quarter to advance to the semifinals for the first time since 1982.
Kendle Henry had a double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds for the Rams, while Katelyn Spresser led the Bulldogs with 16 points. BV-Randolph scored 18 points off 17 Golden Plains turnovers.
Led by Callie Cordell's 21 points, Little River led by a basket with 6:08 remaining. Olpe, led by Kayla Krueger's 19 points, regained the lead shortly thereafter. Olpe shot 59 percent in the second half.
