The Seton Chapter of the National Honor Society held its annual Induction Ceremony on Wednesday, March 14. Faculty adviser Mrs. Donna Kupetz, president Matthew Stevenson, vice president Taylor Miller, secretary Kimberly Sutkowski and treasurer Ashley McCulloch all had a hand in making this event a huge success. Ms. Kelly A. Walsh, a 2002 graduate of Seton Catholic High School was the guest speaker. Walsh, a graduate of Elizabethtown College, Elizabethtown, Pa., is presently a television reporter with Blue Ridge Cable, Channel 11, which services northern Lancaster County.

The National Honor Society is a very prestigious organization and it takes a great deal of hard work to become a member. Scholarship is a major part of the National Honor Society, but it is not the only factor by which you are considered for membership. Some other qualities members must demonstrate are leadership, service and character. The members of the National Honor Society are challenged to be the best they can be and that can be difficult at times. Congratulations are extended to all those students who met that challenge and were inducted this year.

The inductees were seniors Alysia Ardo, Katherine Darby, Jamie L. Fleming and Michael Tracy; juniors Aubre Mayorowski, Thomas J. Melone, Matthew Wisniewski and Kelley Wolcott; and sophomores Kristen Ferretti, Jeffrey Hamilton, Justin Hunter, Jill Jurosky, Shelby Kolesar, Noelle Kozak, Alison Merkel, Caitlin Nossavage, Kevin Odell, Amanda Perlock, Kathleen Rafalko, Ean Robinson, Justin Shuleski, Gabrielle R. Thomas, Sean M. Vitale and Jessica Zaborney. The ceremony was followed by a luncheon for current and new members at Mambo Italiano, Pittston.
