www.directsavetelecom.com Dina Lohan, mother of actress Lindsay Lohan, has hit back at critics of her parenting skills and defended her partying daughter.

In an interview to be published in Harper's Bazaar next week the 44-year-old denied her title of "party mom", bestowed after reports of clubbing with her 20-year-old daughter saying: "Whoever said that, my ex-husband or whatever, I'm not the party mom!"

And Dina was also keen to defend her daughter. In January, the Mean Girls actress underwent a month in Los Angeles' Wonderland Centre to battle her demons with alcohol but has seen to be hitting the party circuit since her release.

But mummy Dina denies her daughter is an alcoholic. "She is just a 20-year-old who had to reel it in. And she's from an addictive personality genetically," she said.

"Lindsay had to fall and get up…I told her, but finally she was like 'Mommy, I had to do it myself'," said Dina, a former Rockette at Radio City Music Hall.
