Minnechaug Regional's Tara Rooke scored with seven seconds left to help the Falcons pull out a 10-10 tie with South Hadley, while Amherst's Emily Tebo scored with 40 seconds remaining to help the Hurricanes post a 9-8 win over Northampton.
South Hadley 10, Minnechaug 10: At Wilbraham, Rooke scored four goals in all, and was supported by two-goal efforts by Dana Navalence and Julie Miller.
Chelsea Charette scored four goals and had two assists for South Hadley, which led 7-4 at halftime. Teammates Caitlin Kennedy added three goals and an assist, while Mel Hine added a pair of goals and five assists.
Amherst 9, Northampton 8: At Northampton, Amherst scored three unanswered goals during the final 4:46, tying the game on a goal by Vanessa Larareo with one minute left.
Amanda Coughlin scored all four of her goals before halftime, including two during the final 2½ minutes to give East Longmeadow a 7-5 lead.
