Kelly, 41, earlier pleaded guilty to a charge of using a computer to communicate with a person under 14 for a sexual purpose and possession of child pornography.

The stepfather of three children, who was diagnosed a pedophile by psychologist Dr. Patrick Baillie, was arrested after being nabbed in a Toronto police sting.

He met an undercover police officer online on Feb. 7, 2005, in a chat room called "pedomoms," described as a "fantasy channel for ladies to play with men over 18 who love them and their kids."

The male officer, posing as a 13-year-old girl, had a conversation with Kelly in which the city man sent a picture of an adult female performing a sex act.

During four subsequent Internet chats, Kelly used sexually explicit words, asked the girl to touch herself, and in one instance he used a webcam to show him fondling himself.

A Jan, 10, 2006, police raid of Kelly's Copperfield Heath S.E. residence found 49 pictures of child porn on his computer hard drive, including sexual acts between men and girls.

Millar also placed Kelly on three years probation, but declined Crown prosecutor Nadine Nesbitt's bid for a prohibition from using computers or the Internet.
