Riddle has had to juggle the rest of the lineup because of injuries. Junior infielder Megan Spano (San Dimas) has missed a week and will likely be out for another after getting cleated in the leg, and sophomore third baseman Molly Vitelli (Glendora) is being redshirted after sustaining a knee injury in the eighth game of the season.

So for now, the lineup consists of junior catcher Crystal Fraijo, junior first baseman Crystal Munoz (Indio), Butler, Hernandez, freshman third baseman Leslie Carrasco, freshman right fielder Melissa Rodriguez (Etiwanda), junior center fielder Michelle Calderone and junior left fielder Lindsey Calderone with freshman Kimberly Aguirre (San Gorgonio) as designated hitter.

Rounding out the roster are outfielders Kaycie Mundt (Jurupa Valley), Stephanie Ramirez (Chino), Christina Vaughn (Don Lugo), infielder Lindsey Jardino (San Dimas) and utilty player Nicole Camarena (Victor Valley).

Carrasco boasts a team-high .381 batting average but it is Hernandez leading the team in most other categories despite nagging injuries which would have slowed a lesser athlete. She is hitting .378 with three doubles, four home runs, 13 RBI and 10 runs with a slugging percentage of .711.
