Perry-Brown, a native of Victorville, reached base safely in all eight at-bats in a doubleheader against University of Mary, going 6-for-6 with two walks, four runs scored and three stolen bases. She is hitting .379 for the 17-1 Toros with four doubles, one triple, 22 runs, eight RBI and 14 stolen bases.

In baseball, the Toros' Jason Klug was player of the week for a second time this season. The former San Bernardino Valley standout hit .533 (8-for-15) for the week with two doubles, a home run, five runs and six RBI.

Redlands basketball players Amir Mazarei, Mara Block and Lacey Baldiviez were named to the all-SCIAC team announced last week with Mazarei and Block placed on first team and Baldiviez on second.

Mazarei, a junior, is a repeat first-team selection. He averaged a conference-high 25.9 points, a single-season school record. He led the team in three-pointers (134) and steals (73), but the highlight of the season was a school-record 57-point outburst against nationally ranked Occidental.

Block (Redlands HS) also is a repeat SCIAC selection. She led the team in scoring (13.8 ppg) and in all rebounding categories and was second in steals (64). She finished her career ranked eighth on the school's all-time scoring list with 896 points and fifth in rebounds with 526.

The event will feature PGA Champions tour member and local resident Dave Stockton, who will conduct a clinic before the 11:30 a.m. tournament start. The cost of $395 includes cart, green fees, barbecue lunch, dinner and raffle tickets. Proceeds will go toward the Redlands athletic department.
