Eric Sumberg/QUAD-CITY TIMES Possible bullet holes are marked after Davenport police responded to a call of shots fired Friday at the Brady Street Professional Suites in the 1200 block of Brady Street.

Authorities believe it was a series of random incidents that kept school and police officials busy Friday near two of Davenport’s public high schools.

It included several fights at West High School, a report of shots fired near 12th and Pershing streets and a police officer being assaulted by a student. No one was seriously hurt.
