Her unguarded comments about Harry Kewell's peachy bum, stretch marks and ambition to swap teams left the poor fella with a face as red as the Liverpool shirt he plays in. And now he's bracing himself for more of the same...

We can look forward to more gossip and revelations from this real live footballer's wife during this summer's World Cup. The former Emmerdale star has been lined up to present coverage from Germany, where her other half will be playing for his home country, Australia.

"I understand football, but I get bored if Harry is taken off the field, " admits 30-year-old Sheree. "I don't know as much about it as Kirsty Gallacher or Gabby Logan, but I can give the inside information and that's what people want to know.

"At the end of the day it's football and I'm not going to get all patriotic about it. Obviously I have loyalty to England because I'm English, but this is a massive thing for Harry.

"I don't know any of the other Australian wives, so I'll meet up with my friends - Michael Owen's sister and his wife Louise, Alex Curran and Coleen McLoughlin."

No doubt 27-year-old Harry will be silently praying that his missus doesn't get the chance to share any more of his secrets with the rest of the world.

"Harry was worried about me going in there, " admits Sheree with a grin. "When they asked me to go on the show I ummed and aahhed for so long. And Harry said, 'Oh, no. You don't want to do that'. He knows what I'm like - honest and open.

"But I've loved the programme for so long. And I knew they'd get me to do things I hadn't dreamed of doing - I'm such a scaredy-cat. And I thought it would be a chance to meet new people and challenge myself.

"Harry told me, 'Don't say anything'. But after a couple of days I forgot the camera was there. Other people were talking about their partners so I talked, too."

"My mum told me, 'Oh, Sheree! Poor Harry's had so much stick'. I had to wait 10 hours to speak to Harry because he had a big game at home and was sleeping.

"I've watched most of the show now and it looks like I was always rabbiting away, telling all my husband's secrets, but that's just the way it was edited."

HARRY was booed off the pitch when he snapped his groin because Liverpool were losing, " says Sheree. "I was so upset for him because it was the biggest night of his life.

Among her jungle revelations was the shock news that Harry, who she married in Las Vegas three years ago, would love to play for a team in Europe. If that ever happens, Sheree would have no hesitation about her and their children - son Taylor, who is nearly five, and daughter Ruby, who is two in June - leaving their Cheshire home and going too.

"I felt sorry for Victoria. People criticised her for concentrating on her work, but she did have a career and was earning money. If she was just laying around then people would criticise her for that. She can't win.

"I understand she wanted to make something of herself, but I think she's at that stage in her career where she could have some time out and concentrate on her family. And I would do that.

"Harry has said to me, 'When I finish football and you want to go off, I'll come with you'. That's what you have to do to make your marriage work."

"Harry had the opportunity before he went to Liverpool - Chelsea and Arsenal both came in for him. I wanted to live in London and I could have put pressure on him. My dad Tony had just died and I wanted to be with my mum.

"Harry said, 'If you really want to I'll go down south'. But I said no. I didn't want to be responsible for making that decision. He had to make up his own mind.

She is just as devoted to her young family. The only downside of doing I'm A Celebrity was that it meant spending three weeks away from Taylor and Ruby.

"During the day there was plenty to do but it was hard at night when I went to bed and started to think, 'The children will be getting ready for school now', " she recalls. "But it was a brilliant adventure. I've learned that if I push myself I can do things.

"The best thing was the people - we still stay in touch. Sid Owen has been to stay and he gets on really well with Harry. Jenny Frost and I text each other all the time.

"I've been to Carol Thatcher's flat for drinks. I speak to Jilly Goolden on the phone. I've seen Jimmy Osmond. And I've seen Bobby Ball and Tommy Cannon in their panto."

Her stint on the show led to Sheree being inundated with offers of work. But apart from agreeing to be a presenter at the British Soap Awards in May and to front a campaign promoting the benefits of gossip for Mr Kipling cakes, she has devoted herself to looking after Harry and the children.

"I was offered lots of adverts and magazine deals when I came out of the jungle, but I just wanted to go home, " says Sheree. "I didn't do it to raise my profile. If anything it has probably jeopardised me getting serious acting work.

"I'm lucky that I don't have to work to pay the bills. I'm just being a housewife and a mum at the moment. I've got cleaners, so I'm not on my hands and knees cleaning... But it's nice to cook for the kids and be there for Harry.

"When I was working long hours on Emmerdale, Harry used to be up with the kids in the night, get them ready in the morning, collect them from nursery, bath them and give them their tea.

"When I came home, he cooked my dinner, ran my bath and rehearsed my lines with me. Now it's my turn to look after him - especially as he's had such a rough time at Liverpool with injuries. It's good that I've been around or I don't think we'd have coped as a family.

"I get the kids ready for school. I go to the gym and make Harry lunch. I pick up the kids at 3pm then do reading and homework with them until teatime.

"I'd like another child within the next couple of years, " she says. "My husband would like another two, but I hate being pregnant because I get really sick. To be able to make another little human being is amazing. I love newborn babies.
